REQUIREMENTS
- You Must Complete a Membership Application
- You Must be at least 18 to Apply
- You Must pass an Arson Background Check
- You Must Reside within the Hawthorne Fire District or Surrounding Communities or work within the Fire District
- You Must Pass a Medical Exam Provided by our department physician
- Once Becoming a Member, You Must Complete the Firefighter 1 Training Course Provided by Westchester County Within a Year of Being Sworn In.
- Maintain a Good Standing in Department Point System for Firematic Functions
